Constantin Georgescu
CONSTANTIN GEORGESCU is a Romanian choreographer, dance teacher, and video artist.
he was educated as a dancer in Bucharest, he has been engaged for over 17 years in different dance companies in Romania and Germany, and later on as a freelance performer in many projects. He holds a Masters Degree in dance pedagogy and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Bruckner University in Linz. As a choreographer, he is creating his own work and he is collaborating with dance companies, schools, and other independent artists in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Taiwan, South Korea, Portugal, etc. His choreographic work covers a broad artistic spectrum, from classical and contemporary dance pieces to experimental or multimedia projects. Apart of dance films, he is also creating documentaries, mapping projections, and stage design video.
CONSTANTIN GEORGESCU has been video artist in BLACK SIDE performance and LAYERS OF US exhibition and TRACKER, BLACK SIDE, and POSTCARDS dance films. He was invited to present his TACTILE TALK solo performance for LOCATION X 10 years celebration festival.
